In an effort to make things as simple and painless as possible for our valued clients, we are pleased to announce Digital Document Storage. DDS will provide comfort in knowing that your important tax documents have been converted to digital files and are easily accessible.
In the past, if your records were lost, destroyed, or unobtainable due to a job transfer, you were faced with the difficult task of reproducing everything. Now, with DDS, a single email or telephone call to OA Tax Partners is all that is needed to get your documents re-printed and mailed wherever you’d like. The only way to get DDS is by prepaying your fees.
One printed copy of your DDS file can be requested, free of charge, and sent Regular Mail via USPS within the 5 year storage period. The fee for additional copies requested during the 5 year period is $10 for a printed copy mailed Regular Mail via USPS, emailed copies are always free. Documents will be sent back along with your client copy of the current tax return. Minimum document size is 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 and maximum document size is 8 1/2 by 14. Any documents smaller or larger will not be digitally converted or stored. An additional 5 years of storage can be requested in the final year of the storage period; current rate will apply.
Included on this year's questionnaire is a space to fill out if you want the DDS service. You must fill out this portion on the questionnaire if you want DDS.
